About Me

I've broken into the children's book genre as well as writing books for adults, and am publishing those stories under a pen name to keep the genres separate and avoid any surprises for parents or children. My children's books will be under the name MaeMae Spencer. I look forward to bringing as much joy to children with stories written with them in mind as I have with the stories I publish under Lindy Spencer for adults. Each genre has its own page here on the Lindy Spencer website. Check them both out!

Hi! Lindy Spencer here! Want to know what the people who know me have to say? I've sent a man to the streets to ask the question, "Who is Lindy Spencer?" Here are their answers:

"She's really nice unless you cross her. If she doesn't like you, she'll kill you in a book."

"OH! Lindy! I love her book! She's such a nice girl. I didn't know she had all of that running around in her head..."

"The way she thinks scares me a little, but don't tell her I said that, okay?"

"A new writing talent with many stories to curl up with."

"My wonderful, crazy aunt who is totally awesome."

"An intensely dedicated and talented writer that can tell a story that draws you in from start to finish. Friendly, fair and fierce when she needs to be. A person to keep an eye on because great things are afoot. (or at hand... whichever appendage you choose...)"

So there you have it, fans! Words from the faces that know! :)

What's that? You want the scoop directly from me? Hmmm. Okay. Let's see...

Currently I live in Oklahoma with Amazing Husband and Super Smart Dog. The kids have grown and flown, and are busy populating their own branches of the Family Tree with littlies for me to spoil. I do love to spend quality time with all of them: Husband, dog, the kids, their spouses, and the grands.

When I'm not hanging with the family or writing, I'm more often than not found reading, riding motorcycles, or shooting things with a Canon.

I do like to keep in touch with my fans, and can be found on Facebook relatively easily. Come by, say hello. I'd love to hear from you. There's a little button at the bottom of the page to click and follow me on Facebook or Twitter. Click them and become a bona fide stalker - more commonly referred to on social media as a "Lovely"!

Thanks for stopping by - see you soon!

P.S. Recently I ran into Rob, a very talented artist who chooses to use his powers for zombie-ing...

here's what you can expect me to look like when the apocalypse happens!
